Jews Give Dalai Lama a Tallis Prayer Shawl

(IsraelNN.com) French Jewish officials presented the Dalai Lama with a tall it (prayer shawl) at the end of his 12-day visit to the country, European Jewish Press reported. The Tibetan spiritual leader earlier inaugurated a Buddhist temple in southern France

Hubert Allouche, an official of CRIF, the umbrella representative group of the Jewish community, said he told the Dalai Lama, "Our two people are linked by a community of fate [and] we are attached to our culture and our faith. The bridges between Judaism and Buddhism are numerous."

Hashem appointed us, the Jewish people as his emissaries. It is our job to tell the goyim that Hashem expects them also to worship only him. Instead we are giving gifts to the idolaters when they set up another temple of idolatry.

  1. Even if the Dalai Lama accepted the Noahide Laws and prayed to HaShem (he has been to the Kotel), a tallit and tzitzis is a mitzvah for Jews and not goyim. Tzitzis distinguishes Jews as G-d's chosen servants. The goyim have the 7 and Am Yisrael the 613.

  2. When you continuously refer to non - Jewish people as "Goyim" you make it sound like the word "nigger" whether or not this i your intention.
